Online Expert AP Precalculus Tutoring
One-on-one online AP Precalculus tutoring for high school students who want stronger grades, real confidence in math, and a solid foundation for AP Calculus.
Work with Max (Georgia Tech engineer + 19+ years teaching/tutoring). Sessions are focused, personalized, and designed to help students understand the "why" behind trig, functions, and polynomial concepts—not just memorize formulas.
Looking for an AP Precalculus tutor online? Start with a free trial session. After the trial, we'll do a 10–15 minute parent follow-up to review what I'm seeing and agree on the best next steps.

Second-guessing themselves on tests even when they've studied
-
Needing a clear, structured approach instead of just "more practice problems"

How online sessions work
We meet online using Zoom and a shared whiteboard.
To make sessions efficient, students can send screenshots of problems ahead of time (recommended).
We’ll use our time together to:
-
Identify the exact skill gap
-
Practice the right question types
-
Build a repeatable strategy the student can use independently
-
Strengthen confidence by making the process feel clear and manageable
Typical schedule: weekly 55–60 minute sessions (45 minutes available).

AP Precalculus Tutoring FAQ
Q: Do you help with homework and test prep?
A: Yes. We'll use homework to identify gaps, then practice the question types that show up on quizzes, unit tests, and the AP exam.
Q: My student did fine in Algebra 2 but is struggling now. Can you help?
A: Absolutely. AP Precalculus moves faster and expects students to connect concepts in new ways. We'll identify exactly where things stopped clicking and rebuild from there.
Q: What should my student send before the session?
A: If possible, send screenshots of the assignment, recent test topics, or the areas that feel confusing at least 24 hours before the session.
Q: Will this help prepare my student for AP Calculus?
A: Yes. A strong Precalculus foundation—especially in trig and function behavior—makes AP Calculus significantly more manageable. We'll build those skills intentionally.
Q: What happens after the free trial?
A: After the session, we'll schedule a brief 10–15 minute call with the parent(s) to review what I observed, answer questions, and recommend next steps.
Q: Do you work with my teacher's pacing and materials?
A: Yes. If you share the syllabus or current unit, I'll align sessions with what's happening in class.
